Kylie Jenner is facing a third employment-related lawsuit in just a matter of months after a former private chef filed a complaint alleging pregnancy discrimination, labor violations, and wrongful termination.

The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, claims the former chef was subjected to physically demanding work despite informing supervisors that she had a high-risk pregnancy and required reasonable accommodations. The complaint alleges that the workload ultimately contributed to severe medical complications, including the loss of her unborn child following a birthday event in Palm Springs.

According to court filings, the chef says she was hired around Thanksgiving 2024 and informed supervisors in early December that she was approximately three months pregnant. She alleges that despite disclosing her condition, she was regularly assigned 11- to 12-hour shifts and expected to perform strenuous tasks.

One incident described in the lawsuit reportedly occurred on New Year’s Eve 2024, when the chef says she was instructed to move heavy food items uphill without assistance. She alleges the exertion caused her to become dizzy and struggle to breathe before security personnel stepped in to help.

Palm Springs Event at Center of Complaint

The lawsuit places particular emphasis on a birthday celebration for one of Jenner’s children in Palm Springs in early February 2025.

According to the complaint, the chef—then approximately five months pregnant—was responsible for managing an extensive workload without adequate assistance. She claims that despite requesting help and expressing concerns about the physical demands of the event, her supervisors ignored those requests.

The filing states that after an exhausting day of work, she experienced severe bleeding the following morning and drove herself to a hospital, where she was allegedly informed that there was no detectable fetal heartbeat.

The lawsuit does not allege that Kylie Jenner personally directed the work assignments but names Jenner and members of her management structure as defendants.

Additional Allegations

Beyond the pregnancy-related claims, the lawsuit also alleges:

  • Failure to provide reasonable accommodations for a high-risk pregnancy.
  • Pregnancy discrimination and harassment.
  • Misclassification as an independent contractor.
  • Failure to pay proper wages and overtime.
  • Wrongful termination.
  • Retaliation after reporting workplace concerns.

The former chef also claims that after notifying supervisors of her miscarriage, she was criticized over kitchen conditions following the Palm Springs event, and later offered a settlement agreement after raising complaints about discrimination and wage issues.

Third Workplace Lawsuit Against Jenner

The filing comes after two separate lawsuits from former housekeepers who also alleged workplace discrimination and harassment. Those cases similarly accuse Jenner’s employment structure of failing to address complaints made by staff members.

At the time of publication, Kylie Jenner has not publicly responded to the latest allegations. Her representatives reportedly did not immediately comment on the lawsuit.

As with all civil litigation, the allegations contained in the complaint have not been proven in court, and the defendants will have the opportunity to respond through the legal process.
