Hollywood icon Sharon Stone is sharing a disturbing story from her past that she says left her with serious internal injuries that went undiscovered for nearly a decade.

During a recent appearance on The Person Who Believed in Me podcast, the 68-year-old actress revealed that she was violently attacked from behind and knocked unconscious. When she woke up, she found furniture overturned and the room in disarray, but she had little memory of what had happened.

“I was hit from behind,” Stone recalled, describing the frightening incident that would continue affecting her health for years.

The Injuries No One Knew About

For years after the attack, Stone said she struggled with ongoing pain in her neck and shoulders. It wasn’t until she sought specialized medical treatment that doctors uncovered evidence of severe trauma.

According to Stone, scans revealed old fractures and extensive internal scarring. Doctors reportedly told her the damage was consistent with a violent assault and that parts of her body had healed around injuries she didn’t even realize she had suffered.

Why She Chose Not to Pursue Charges

Stone revealed that she knows who attacked her but has never publicly identified the person.

Although the incident was reported, she ultimately decided not to pursue legal action. After so many years had passed, Stone said she did not want a lengthy court battle to become part of her legacy.

She also declined to answer questions about whether the attack involved domestic violence.
