Your Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Growth Lead to drive the early-stage growth of our AI-powered consumer video product: DayDream. This is a role focused on taking us from zero to 100k users using organic, viral, and community-driven growth strategies. You’ll work closely with our product and engineering teams to craft and execute high-impact campaigns that rapidly expand our user base. After the initial 3 months, there is an opportunity to join the team full time.

This role is ideal for someone who has built marketing programs from scratch at a startup and has a proven track record of driving massive consumer adoption through non-traditional growth channels. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute organic and viral growth experiments to rapidly scale user acquisition.
• Identify and test low-cost, high-impact growth loops to fuel exponential adoption.
• Lead influencer marketing efforts, securing partnerships with creators and early adopters to drive buzz and engagement.
• Build and engage online communities (Discord, Reddit, Twitter, etc.) to foster organic word-of-mouth growth.
• Identify and scale current and new distribution channels including newsletters and podcasts
• Coordinate efforts in retargeting, marketing automation, and lifecycle email marketing to improve user engagement and retention.
• Collaborate with product to enhance the product experience, improving onboarding, activation, and product adoption.
• Analyze key performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and scale.
• Maintain real-time dashboards and reporting to monitor campaign and funnel performance, ensuring prompt adjustments to tactics.

Experience Required:

• 5–10 years of experience in consumer startups, in a Product Marketing or Growth Marketing role.
• Proven track record of scaling a product from zero to 100k+ users through organic and community-driven methods.
• Deep expertise in viral marketing, influencer partnerships, and product-led growth.
• Highly data-driven and analytical, with experience running A/B tests, measuring user behavior, and optimizing for retention.
• Strong execution across social media, content marketing, SEO, and online community growth.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment, working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams.
• Hands-on, scrappy, and willing to experiment aggressively to find what works.
• Open to contract roles with potential for extension based on results.
