Overview

We are hiring a Technical Product Manager to join our Product Management team. This role will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of customer requirements, defining and prioritizing product requirements, and collaborating with engineering, architecture, marketing, sales, and customer service to develop and deliver new products to market, while ensuring revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. This role specializes in the developer experience, requiring a strong technical background working with APIs.
Responsibilities

Product Management

  • Gather and synthesize customer feedback on our developer portal, developer toolset, technical documentation, and APIs through direct customer interaction and data gathering.
  • Create user personas based on understanding of customer roles and needs.
  • Define, drive, and maintain the product roadmap and backlog.
  • Create and/or maintain appropriate product documentation in JIRA.
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape.
  • Manage product releases through the development lifecycle.
  • Work with architecture, engineering, customer support, and other departments to prepare release objectives, milestones, and schedules for all phases of product development and launch.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle, including new products, enhancements, and end-of-life.
  • Design and execute pilots to validate hypotheses about potential products and features.
  • Measure the success of new initiatives and make data-driven decisions to continually improve and/or course correct.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and incorporate enhancements continuously.
  • Prioritize roadmap, features, and initiatives in an agile work environment.
  • Act as a product evangelist advocating internally for quality and technical best practices, and externally for building awareness and adoption.
  • Create, manage, and harmonize customer-facing API documentation, user guides, release notes, tutorials, and blogs.

  • Communicate confidently and demonstrate mastery of your product when interacting with executives, peers, direct reports, customers, and partners.
  • Influence peers and cross-functional stakeholders to drive API design/integration best practices across the organization.
  • Take action and drive issues to resolution.
  • Actively engage customers and key stakeholders to drive business requirement definition and keep all stakeholders informed of progress.
  • Complete projects and tasks on time, on target, and on budget.
  • Exhibit responsiveness and willingness to “go the extra mile” to achieve important goals.
  • Report regularly on performance against key business metrics.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ experience in Technical Product Management or Product Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical aptitude, including knowledge of software development processes, data-driven products, system integration, and APIs.
  • Experience in leading projects and working with cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to travel.

Preferred

  • Proven ability to understand customer needs and build products.
  • Certification or experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Experience with UX/UI and user-centered design.

The compensation offered to the successful candidate will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s work experience, education and licenses, work-related training, key skills, the core duties of the role and its associated responsibilities, additional benefits offered, and the location where the work will be performed. All Fulltime (30+ hours) employees are eligible for PTO, Sick, and Parental Leave; Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance; 401(k) Plan; Health Savings Account; Life Insurance; Employee Assistance Program; Pet Insurance. This is a full-time, remote role with a salary range of $94,000-$112,800, bonus eligible.
