Who Was Cesar Chavez?

Together with Dolores Huerta, he co-founded the National Farm Workers Association, which later became the United Farm Workers Union (UFW). Their efforts contributed to the passage of the California Agricultural Labor Relations Act in 1975, granting farm workers the right to union representation.

Chavez passed away at age 60 on April 23, 1993, in San Luis, Arizona.
