A Message from Our Team – 11: 20 a.m. EST

As many of you know, our Editor-in-Chief and staff are based in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, some of our team members were evacuated in Sherman Oaks yesterday due to the devastating wildfires sweeping across the region. We’re grateful to report that they’re safe, but our hearts go out to those who’ve lost their homes and loved ones.

Current Situation

The Eaton and Palisades fires continue to rage on, threatening thousands of homes and businesses. Gusty winds with speeds of 30-50 mph are expected to persist until Sunday afternoon, making it challenging for firefighters to contain the blazes.

At least 16 people have lost their lives, and the death toll is expected to rise. Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the victims.

Firefighting Efforts

Firefighters are working tirelessly to combat the fires, with some progress reported in the Mandeville Canyon and Encino areas. We’re grateful for their bravery and selflessness.

How You Can Help

If you’d like to support those affected by the wildfires, please consider donating to reputable organizations or visiting approved donation centers. Every bit counts, and your generosity can make a significant difference.

Stay Safe, Los Angeles

To our readers in Los Angeles, please prioritize your safety and follow evacuation orders if necessary. Stay informed through trusted news sources, and look out for one another.

We’ll continue to provide updates and support to our community during this challenging time. Thank you for being part of My Unbounded Life.
