Hailey Bieber’s Skincare Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pint fresh strawberries, finely chopped
- ¼ cup whipped coconut cream
- 5 ice cubes
- 5 frozen strawberries
- ½ frozen banana
- ⅓ fresh avocado
- 1 pitted date
- 2 scoops Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
- ¾ cup almond milk
Directions:
- Prepare the strawberry glaze by adding fresh chopped strawberries to a small saucepan over low heat. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries are soft and the mixture is syrupy. Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Set the glaze aside.
- Prepare the smoothie by adding ice cubes, frozen fruit, avocado, and one date to a blender. Pour in almond milk and add Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides (or your preferred protein powder). Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy.
- Prepare the whipped coconut cream by refrigerating a can of full-fat coconut cream overnight until firm. Whisk with a hand mixer for 1 minute until soft peaks form. Fold in a pinch of sweetener and mix for another minute until light and fluffy.
- Assemble the smoothie by spreading a thin layer of whipped coconut cream around the inside of a tall glass. Pour about ¼ cup of strawberry glaze into the bottom of the glass. Fill the glass halfway with the smoothie. Add another ¼ cup of strawberry glaze. Fill the glass to the brim and stir gently. Enjoy your delicious and healthy smoothie!
