I recently went on a hunt for rare Essies again and I was successful. This pretty minty color is called 'yespadrilles' and was part of the cashmere bright matte collection 2015. I think this was an US only release, I can't remember seeing them here in Europe. As the name of the collection suggests this polish dries down to a semi matte finish. I also took a picture without topcoat (👉swipe to see it). It looks nice matte but I personally prefer shiny nails so I added a glossy top coat. I did 3 coats but you could probably get away with 2 depending on the application. 2. A Beautiful Blue Nail shouts Summer

Blue is definitely the most popular nail color of the 2018 summer season. From vibrant blues to almost greenish blue, to soft blues, to tiffany blue- the blue nail color is in. Essie is a great brand. 

I can't believe I haven't done my nails in almost a week! So for the weekend I'm wearing one of my favourite blues ever, 'blue la la' from last year's summer collection. 3. A Pinkish Red is a Nice Neutral Nail Color for summer that you can pair with a great pink or red lip color. 

It's been a busy week so I'm glad I finally get to post my polish of the week now! This is 'Éclair my love' from last year's summer collection and I think the color is hard to describe and catch on camera. Is it a pink toned red or a red toned pink? In the picture it looks more red, but in person I see more pink. 4. A Delightful Green Nails is very Fresh looking Nail color for Summer

Starting into the week on #manimonday with my most recent 'Instagram made me buy it' polish! This is 'going guru' from the 2016 resort collection, I actually didn't get any polishes from this collection when it first came out, I only ended up getting 'Delhi dance' later on. However I kept seeing spring inspired manis all over Instagram which also included 'going guru' quite a lot, so I thought I'll give it a go. Unfortunately I have to say I imagined it to be more pastel and I don't like this on me at all! I've been wearing this all day hoping it would grow on me in a weird way but it didn't. 5. A Pink with a hint of Coral is another Beautiful and Classic Summer Nail Color

Today I'm wearing one of my very first OPIs! It was a TK maxx find, like many of my polishes from this brand. I like the color range and quality but I never understood why their polishes are so high priced, I could get 2 Essies for 1 OPI! So I usually get them on sale for 1/3 of the price. Anyways, "Suzi's Hungary again" is a pretty pink with a hint of coral. Strangely it looks way more coral on camera, in person it looks a lot more pink. It seems like my phone never pics up red/pink shades correctly.
